November 8, 2008 was a landmark day for the University of Wisconsin Figure skating club. Four of our club members competed in The Hoosier Challenge, an individual collegiate competition held at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. We competed against teams such as Indiana University, University of Miami, University of Michigan, Kent State, and Michigan State. Out of nine teams we took fourth place. This placement is even more impressive considering that we only had twelve entries in the competition when other teams had up to thirty-five. We all had a great time on and off the ice supporting and cheering for each other.
